Happy Wednesday closes an exceptional season with a one-night-only event on July 10

After a five week-long celebration of the best beats from around the globe, Happy Wednesday ends the season on a high note with an unforgettable event on July 10.

Destined to be the best carnival of the summer, this one-night-only event promises a jam-packed evening of unmissable performances and high-octane entertainment, alongside the world-class racing that has made Happy Wednesday the go-to event on the city’s social calendar, year after year.  

The Happy Wednesday Finale promises an exciting night for avid racegoers and regulars who have made Happy Wednesday their mid-week destination thanks to its electric atmosphere and unique combination of horse racing and music. The action continues well beyond trackside, making this a not-to-be-missed event.

Headlining the evening are More of Us and Hong Kong-based DJ Shyne, who are returning to the racecourse following their stellar performances at Happy French Wednesday. DJ Shyne has been rocking the party for 15 years and is known for his ability to master any genre, making him a favourite with partygoers from all walks of life.  More Of Us will feature UK based music duo, Mikey Martin and Amel Fouad, who will add their own unique spin and exquisite harmonies on modern day hits and old school classics that will keep crowds on their feet.

The fun doesn’t stop there. Carnival-goers can also soak up the electrifying atmosphere with immersive performances by samba dancers, whose will entertain crowds with their energetic beats while mingling with guests both on the racecourse and in the Beer Garden.

Dancing works up the appetite which is why the Beer Garden’s iconic food trucks will offer a menu of summer favourites like ice lollies, slushies and other energising treats

To round off this unforgettable night, racegoers can enjoy two exclusive experiences including a rare opportunity to experience the tradition of season finale here at Happy Valley Racecourse, to get up close and personal with their favourite horsemen during the Jockey’s Parade after Race 7, where they will be giving out limited edition mini-horse plushes to thank the racing fans for their support.

Fans can also partake in the Happy Wednesday Season Finale Quiz after Race 5 and Race 8 for a chance to enjoy a money-can’t-buy experience which includes a stable visit to meet champion race horses Golden Sixty and Romantic Warrior. These once-in-a-lifetime experiences will no doubt be the perfect end to what has proven to be an exceptional season.
