Those who live in Hong Kong know just how quickly Burger Joys became the success it is. The burgers are great, and it would be fair to say that the effective marketing of Burger Joys with Manu being the face and personality behind the brand, has created something of a Burger renaissance in Hong Kong.
Especially during these days there’s a need for quality at an inexpensive price more so than ever before.
Apart from this business venture, Manu owns Lucky Smash, another burger business, and recently moved opened a steak and fries restaurant- La Moo Moo’s.
As a key player in our Galloping Foodies campaign, it was here that he took us through the process of creating two different and very original burgers- the “outspoken” Zac Attack, named after his favourite jockey Zac Purton - plus the pretty elaborate Triple Trio, named after the popular and often very lucrative bet type.
